I am Amos Brady. In 1993 I was twelve years old with a dial-up modem, a screen name built to look official, and a discovery that has paid the bills ever since: people hand over anything when they think you have a badge. I spent my misspent youth on the wrong side of that trick and my whole career on the right side of it, as a security consultant who knows exactly how the con works because he used to run it.
